Cynthia M. Pornavalai to Speak as a Panelist at Gide/Lex Mundi Conference on Investing in ASEAN

Cynthia M. Pornavalai, a partner in Tilleke & Gibbins’ corporate and commercial group, will participate as a panelist at a joint Gide- and Lex Mundi-hosted conference titled “Investing in the Contrasting Economies of ASEAN: Trends, Opportunities, and Challenges with a Focus on Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.” The conference will broadly cover investing in ASEAN, and will feature panel discussions focused on structuring investments, mergers and acquisitions, and the impact of recent developments on foreign investment. As part of the talk, Cynthia will address the following main topics:

  • Foreign investment rules
  • Conducting due diligence
  • Completion issues
  • Challenges and opportunities under the AEC
