Cynthia M. Pornavalai to Speak on the Future of Foreign Business in Thailand

The Thailand Corporate Finance Forum, a peer group of chief financial officers, finance directors, treasury directors, and senior accountants, will be hosting a discussion on the topic “The Way Forward for Thailand’s Foreign Business Act: Protectionism or Liberalization?” The debate will cover issues such as the prospects for amendment of the Foreign Business Act, the establishment of a Thailand-EU Free Trade Agreement, Thailand’s privileges as they relate to trade, the impact of ASEAN, and the importance of liberalizing foreign business to compete with other regional locations. Cynthia M.
