Cynthia M. Pornavalai to Speak at Euromoney Asset Management Asia Seminar

Cynthia M. Pornavalai, a partner in Tilleke & Gibbins’ corporate and commercial group, will be a guest speaker at a Euromoney Legal Training seminar dubbed “Asset Management Asia Seminar: Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance Issues.” The event will host discussions on recent regulatory developments, the key challenges faced by asset managers, compliance and internal control procedures, and changes to the law. Cynthia’s talk will focus on the topic “Growth Opportunities for Asset Management in Thailand,” and will cover the following specific points:

  • Thailand’s asset management regulations
  • Regulatory and licensing framework
  • Roles of asset management companies in Thailand
  • Recent developments in real estate investment trust regulations

Euromoney Legal Training is a provider of training courses to the legal industry. The Asset Management Asia Seminar will take place at the Marina Mandarin Singapore hotel over a span of two days, from September 4 to 5.
