The Chambers Asia-Pacific editorial stated that Tilleke & Gibbins is “widely recognized as a leading practice for IP.” One client was quoted as saying, “they know the local market well and can advise us on the nuances in Thailand.” Another client said that Tilleke & Gibbins has “a dynamic team with a finger on the pulse of the judiciary.”
In the editorial’s section on “notable practitioners,” Darani Vachanavuttivong, co-managing partner and managing director of the IP Department at Tilleke & Gibbins, is described as a “pre-eminent IP practitioner whose expertise extends beyond Thailand to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar.” Continuing, it says, “she is widely identified for her work in the prosecution and enforcement of trade marks, where she acts for international brands.” “Her responses are always quick and accurate,” one source is quoted as saying, while another says, “she’s unflappable and remains calm in the midst of what can be a hectic process.” Alan Adcock, partner and deputy director of the IP Department at Tilleke & Gibbins, is also mentioned for his expertise in commercial IP matters.
