Chambers Asia-Pacific 2014: Tilleke & Gibbins’ Insurance Practice in Thailand Receives “Band 1” Ranking

Chambers Asia-Pacific

Distinguished industry publication Chambers Asia-Pacific has released its new rankings for 2014, and Tilleke & Gibbins’ insurance practice in Thailand has been placed in “Band 1.” The rankings are based on several factors, including feedback obtained from interviews conducted with clients and recent work completed. Law-firm departments are ranked according to the qualities of their lawyers, the effectiveness and capability of the department as a whole, its strengths, and its depth.

The publication’s editorial highlights our recent hiring of Aaron Le Marquer, an insurance specialist and a former assistant general counsel for AIG Asia Pacific. Aaron was also individually ranked by Chambers Asia-Pacific for his expertise in this area.

In addition, Michael Turnbull, who recently joined the firm, was listed as a leading insurance lawyer in Hong Kong, where he practiced before moving to Tilleke & Gibbins in January 2013.

More information on the rankings may be found on the Chambers Asia-Pacific website.
