Chaiwat Keratisuthisathorn to Speak at EABC Foreign Investment Seminar

Chaiwat Keratisuthisathorn, a senior associate in Tilleke & Gibbins’ corporate and commercial group, is set to speak at an upcoming seminar on foreign investment in Thailand and the Foreign Business Act. Chaiwat’s presentation will discuss the process that must be followed in order to apply for foreign business licenses and certificates in Thailand, and the criteria that must be met in order to be successful.

The event, organized by the European Association for Business and Commerce (EABC), will take an in-depth look at the regulations and workings of foreign investment in Thailand, and provide insights on how to promote competition to further propel the economy. In addition to Chaiwat, the seminar will feature presentations by four other experts on the topic, including the deputy-director of Thailand’s Department of Business Development.

Anticipating this impending wave of transactions, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and its arbitration unit, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), are jointly organizing a day-long training course on M&A for Vietnamese businesses.
