Bun-Tuek Thai Bev Visits Tilleke & Gibbins’ Museum of Counterfeit Goods

Bun-Tuekg Thai Bev, a variety program on Channel 5, recently paid a visit to Tilleke & Gibbins’ Museum of Counterfeit Goods to find out more on the current counterfeiting situation in Thailand. Suebsiri Taweepon, an attorney-at-law in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property group, was interviewed by Bun-tung Thai Bev for his thoughts on the subject.

The program interviewed Suebsiri about the effects of buying counterfeit products on both consumers and producers of genuine goods. Suebsiri also delved into the history and origin of the museum.

Bun-Tuek Thai Bev  is sponsored by Thai Beverage, one of Southeast Asia’s largest beverage companies. The program, featuring Suebsiri and the Tilleke & Gibbins Museum of Counterfeit Goods, is scheduled to be aired on March 20 at 10.15 p.m. on Channel 5.

Clemence Gautier, Consultant at in the Tilleke & Gibbins IP group, will be interviewed by the host of the program, Koh Tawalitr Petchpisitchote. The segment will cover a variety of IP-related topics, including IP infringements, penalties for IP violations, and the rights of IP owners. English on the Way will air on Wednesday, September 21 at 8:30 p.m.

Kha Yao Jor, a Thai TV show that airs a variety of programming, will soon feature the Tilleke & Gibbins Museum of Counterfeit Goods in one of its weekly segments. Day Freeman, host of the talk show, will interview Yuwadee Thean-ngarm, Attorney-at-Law with Tilleke & Gibbins, covering the museum’s history, IP rights, trademark infringement, and the penalties for IP violations. The episode will air on Thursday, September 15 from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on True Vision 70 and ASTV-3.

The show, Tiew Len Pen Paan, regularly presents activities and places to visit for teenagers.You2Play TV interviewed Inthupim Chokwaranun, Attorney-at-Law at Tilleke & Gibbins, who answered questions about the history and origins of the museum, the fake products on display, and penalties for IP infringement. The segment will be broadcast on September 10 on Thaicom 5 Satellite and on cable TV throughout Thailand.
