Thai Law Training

On February 13, 2020, Auradee Pantumkomon Wongsaroj, attorney-at-law, and Pimvimol (June) Vipamaneerut, partner and head of the firm’s non-contentious employment team, were welcomed as speakers at Thai Law Training’s second PDPA for HR seminar. During their joint presentation, Auradee and Pimvimol enlightened human resources professionals on numerous topics relating to Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), including drafting labor contracts and work policies/rules that fit with the PDPA, terminating employees involved in data breaches, and managing employee information, among other things.

The recurring event, which was most recently held at the Amara Bangkok Hotel, is designed to help build an understanding of how the PDPA relates to human resources management and operations in advance of the anticipated enforcement of the law in May 2020.
