Athistha (Nop) Chitranukroh to Provide PDPA Webinar in Collaboration with TLCA

On May 7, 2020, at 2 p.m., Athistha (Nop) Chitranukroh, partner and director of the firm’s corporate and commercial group, co-head of the firm’s technology practice, and International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) Certified Information Privacy Professional, will hold a webinar entitled “Preparing for Compliance with Thailand’s Personal Data Protection (PDPA) Act.” The highly anticipated online session, hosted jointly by Tilleke & Gibbins and the Thai Listed Companies Association (TLCA), will provide attendees with an overview of the far-reaching implications of the PDPA—Thailand’s first unified data privacy legislation, and practical tips to obtain compliance with its regulations before the expected enforcement of the law later this month.

This session is the fifth instalment of an ongoing webinar series co-hosted by Tilleke & Gibbins and the TLCA that aims to provide Thai companies with timely legal information and developments that are essential to their local operations.
