ASEAN Franchise Congress: Presentations on Franchising Issues in Thailand and Vietnam

Areeya Pornwiriyangkura, an attorney-at-law in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property group, and Jim Dao, a registered foreign attorney in the firm’s Ho Chi Minh City office, will present at the ASEAN Franchise Congress 2015, an event hosted by RetailEx FranchisEx which features renowned franchise experts speaking on a variety of topics such as the day-to-day running of a franchise and growing a franchise business.

Areeya will speak on “The Standout Franchise Trends,” which will cover the new trends driving growth in everyday retailing, key new trends in franchising, and leveraging new trends to formulate your unique selling point.

Jim will participate in “Enter ASEAN Franchise: Panel Discussion,” a panel discussion which will focus on what franchisors and prospective franchise partners need to know when expanding their business to Southeast Asia, protecting intellectual property, and understanding various ASEAN member nations’ franchise laws, among other topics.

RetailEx FranchisEx is a leading organizer of exhibitions. The congress will take place on September 18 at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center in Bangkok.
