On November 29, a free one-day seminar in Bangkok will educate business professionals about the important role of intellectual property management in enhancing corporate competitiveness. Organized by Bangkok University, the National Science Technology and Innovation Policy Office, and the Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology, in collaboration with JETRO and Wisdom World Group, “Managing Intellectual Property in the Global Economy” will examine the relationship between national innovation and private sector IP strategies, best practices to enhance a company’s IP portfolio, and a comparative analysis of how the IP experience of Japanese companies may be relevant to their Thai counterparts.
As part of the event, Areeya Pornwiriyangkura, a consultant in the Tilleke & Gibbins IP group, will present on “Expanding Your Business Through Licensing – Important Considerations When Negotiating an IP Deal.” Areeya’s presentation will provide an overview of:
