Alec Wheatley Speaks at China Brand Strategy

Alec Wheatley, a consultant in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property department, will host a panel session at WTR’ s  Brand Strategy China event on Monday, December 3, 2018. He will be joined by panelists from global brand owners L Brands and Treasury Wine Estates, and from renowned US IP boutique, Fitch Even.

The session, entitled “Your Online Offensive and Defensive Playbook,” will delve into the steps that brand owners need to take in order to pursue a 360-degree approach to building, managing, and protecting brand identity online. The panelists, under Alec’s guidance as moderator, will examine the defensive and offensive tactics that are critical for digital stakeholders to protect their reputation, and the impact of legislative change on doing so.

Nandana Indananda, a partner in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property practice, was interviewed by the Thai Post for their recent article about the ASEAN Law Association (ALA) Governing Council Meeting, which took place on November 21–22 in Phuket. Nandana, who is also vice president of the Lawyer’s Council of Thailand’s (LCT) subcommittee on foreign affairs, was joined at the event by Waralee Sripawadkul, attorney-at-law in the firm’s intellectual property group. Together they represented Tilleke & Gibbins at the two-day meeting.
