Alan Adcock, partner and deputy director of the intellectual property department at Tilleke & Gibbins, will participate in a panel discussion on agribusiness and food at the “4th ASEAN-EU Business Summit 2015,” a forum cohosted by the EU-ASEAN Business Council and the EU-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The forum will include discussions on ASEAN integration, opportunities for international businesses and SMEs, obstacles in the journey toward a single ASEAN market, and the lessons learned from the European integration project. Alan’s panel discussion on the agricultural and food sectors will cover the following main topics:
- Consumer protection
- Industry competition
- Harmonization of standards
The 4th ASEAN-EU Business Summit 2015 will take place on August 23, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
