Responsibilities

• Acting as the lead associate for cross-border transactions involving JVs, corporate, commercial, M&A, and structuring aspects for international and local clients.
• Providing legal, regulatory, licensing advice and solutions to international and local clients.
• Directing and instructing foreign co-counsels across various jurisdictions to ensure seamless cross-border deal execution.
• Managing, supervising and mentoring junior and mid-level lawyers of different legal disciplines on cross-border client work.
• Being the primary trusted point of contact for clients, overseeing client work and relationships.
• Participating in business development, client-pitching, and strategic growth initiatives for the firm.

Requirements

• Qualified Thai lawyer with 7-10+ years of work experience with a leading international or top-tier domestic law firm in Thailand, with experience in cross-border transactions involving JVs, corporate, commercial, M&A, and structuring aspects.
• Proven ability to work independently with a degree of autonomy, and collaboratively as an integral part of a team.
• Demonstrated experience working with international clients and foreign co-counsels.
• Possess a “can-do” mindset, commercial acumen, with a practical and solution-oriented focus.
