我们的博物馆向参观者讲授知识产权的价值以及知识产权保护的重要性。

作为彰显特利德和吉宾斯律师事务所的企业社会责任的项目组成部分,我们的假冒商品博物馆每年接待数百名参观者,由我们有经验的知识产权律师亲自带领参观讲授。

Established in 1989 by David Lyman, Chairman and Chief Values Officer, the Tilleke & Gibbins Museum of Counterfeit Goods has grown from a collection of approximately 100 products when it was first created to more than 4,000 IP-infringing goods today, making it one of the largest of its kind in the world. The museum houses a collection covering 14 broad categories of goods, including clothing, footwear, watches and eyewear, accessories, cosmetics and perfumes, food and household products, drugs, alcohol and cigarettes, copyrighted works, stationery and office supplies, automotive parts, tools, electrical devices, and miscellaneous products.

After a recent visit to the Tilleke & Gibbins Museum of Counterfeit Goods by representatives from the Legal Tribune Online, a German online newspaper covering issues of the law and the legal profession, the museum was featured in a detailed article, “From UHU Glue to the Mercedes Logo.”

Journalists from one of China’s leading newspapers, People’s Daily, recently visited the Tilleke & Gibbins Museum of Counterfeit Goods, after which it received a large spread in the People’s Daily and its subsidiary, Global Times.The article provides detailed background information on the museum, naming it the “largest [museum] of its kind in the world.” It also specifies the number and types of goods in the museum’s collection, the types of brands represented, and how fakes can be differentiated from genuine products.

An interview with Prateep Naboriboon, a senior consultant and patent agent in the Tilleke & Gibbins intellectual property team, will be featured on the Sport Magazine local television program produced by Chawayut Sport Co., Ltd. The interview will cover the history of the Tilleke & Gibbins Museum of Counterfeit Goods, the sources of the displayed goods and their legal background, the variety of visitors, and how famous the museum is locally.

A tour of the Tilleke & Gibbins Museum of Counterfeit Goods, as well as an interview with Wiramrudee (Pink) Mokkhavesa, an attorney-at-law in the Tilleke & Gibbins intellectual property team, will be featured on the Light Life local television program, produced by AJ Creation Co., Ltd.Wiramrudee was interviewed by the famous program moderator, Puri Hiranyapruek, who asked mostly about the history of the museum, its collection, the types of visitors and popularity in Thailand, and the sources of the goods on display.

After a visit to the Museum of Counterfeit Goods by a reporter of the Hong Kong Economic Times earlier this year, a Chinese-language article was published in April, covering the purpose of the museum and Tilleke & Gibbins’ range of IP clients. Building on an interview with Wiramrudee (Pink) Mokkhavesa, an attorney-at-law in the Tilleke & Gibbins IP group, the article also details the various forms of IP infringement displayed at the museum, the most common counterfeit products found in Thailand, and penalties for the purchase of such goods.

An interview with Yuwadee Thean-ngarm, an attorney-at-law in the Tilleke & Gibbins intellectual property team, will be featured in the Bangkok Metro News, produced by Nine Plus Television Co., Ltd. During the interview, Yuwadee will discuss current issues relating to counterfeit goods in Thailand, and she will provide viewers with an introduction to the Tilleke & Gibbins Museum of Counterfeit Goods. The program will be broadcasted in a series of six ten-minute segments from Monday, May 28, to Monday, June 4, and will air at 11.30 a.m. daily on TrueVisions 76.
