Tilleke & Gibbins’ Thailand IP practice has received “Tier 1” classifications for both “Patents” and “Trademarks/Copyright” in Asian Legal Business’ annual IP rankings. Asian Legal Business determined the rankings through consideration of firm submissions, interviews, market suggestions, and other editorial resources. The rankings were also based on metrics including the volume, complexity, and size of work carried out by firms; a firm’s visibility and profile in the marketplace; a firm’s presence across Asia and in individual jurisdictions; and key clients and new client wins. The research covered the period spanning from January 2013 to February 2014.
This ranking builds on our firm’s recent success in various publications’ annual awards for the jurisdiction of Thailand, including “Tier 1 – Intellectual Property” from Chambers Asia-Pacific, “Tier 1 – Patents” from Managing Intellectual Property, “Gold Band – Trademarks” from World Trademark Review, and “Tier 1 – Copyright” from Asia IP, among others.
