Thang Duc Nguyen is a certified attorney-at-law and manages the patent group in Tilleke & Gibbins’ Vietnam offices. Thang specializes in prosecuting patent and industrial design applications for foreign clients. His efficient, methodical, detail-oriented working style has helped him handle more than 900 patent applications over 14 years in the practice area. He also advises clients on patent issues and strategies in Vietnam, and handles other proceedings related to patent and design.

An avid lifelong learner, Thang has earned degrees in the disparate fields of law, organic chemistry and English. He is a member of the Hanoi Bar Association and a Vietnam-qualified patent agent.

Conducted patent and design searches on behalf of clients in a wide range of industries.
Drafted patent specifications to accurately capture novelty and inventiveness while ensuring the broadest possible protection.
Filed and successfully registered inventions and industrial designs with Vietnam's National Office of Intellectual Property
