Prateep Naboriboon is a consultant and a senior patent agent in the firm’s intellectual property group. Prateep serves both local and overseas clients in worldwide patent registration matters. His other areas of expertise include patent searches, freedom-to-operate searches, drafting patent specifications, and IP acquisition due diligence. Prateep is also an expert in plant variety protection and proudly assists major international corporations in obtaining protection and dealing with plant variety issues.

Prateep completed the South East Asian Patent Drafting Training Course in 2005, the JPO/IPR Training Course for Patent Experts in 2008, and various other IP training courses domestically and internationally. He is a registered patent agent in Thailand and a member of the Intellectual Property Association of Thailand

Conducted patent and design searches on behalf of clients in a wide range of industries.
Drafted patent specifications to accurately capture novelty and inventiveness while ensuring the broadest possible protection.
Filed and successfully registered patents, petty patents, and designs with the Thai Department of Intellectual Property.
Represented clients in filing appeals, oppositions, and cancellations to strengthen and defend their valuable patents.
Conducted global intellectual property due diligence and advised on the transactional elements of a US$60 million equity participation by an international energy company in a U.S. company specializing in biobased chemicals. The collaboration will result in the establishment of bio-succinic acid production plants using natural raw feedstocks such as tapioca, cassava, maize, and other agricultural inputs for the downstream manufacturing of bio-based plastics.
