Wiramrudee (Pink) Mokkhavesa, an attorney-at-law in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property group, will be making a presentation at a seminar dubbed “Myanmar Trademark Enforcement Seminar—The Basics of Trademark Protection,” which is being hosted by the International Trademark Association in Yangon, Myanmar. Pink’s talk will be regionally focused, as she offers her perspective on trademark law and enforcement law in Thailand. Among other subjects, her presentation will cover the following pertinent topics:
- Thailand’s IP laws
- An overview of trademarks
- Enforcement laws
- Government agencies involved with IP protection
- Differentiating between genuine and counterfeit products
The International Trademark Association is a not-for-profit organization of trademark owners and legal advisors, which works to protect and advance the importance of trademarks and related intellectual property. The seminar will take place at the Summit Parkview Hotel in Yangon, Myanmar, on April 1.
