For the second consecutive year, Tilleke & Gibbins is proud to serve as the exclusive law firm sponsor of Chula LegalTech, a program focused on innovation in the legal sector at one of Thailand’s top universities. Bringing together students from across Chulalongkorn University’s faculties of law, business, computer science, engineering, and more, the program will engage teams of students in a competition to develop and implement legaltech solutions over the course of the academic year. The participating students will have the opportunity:
- To be mentored by experienced legal and technology professionals
- To learn about design thinking, innovation, startup management, and other business issues
- To participate in site visits to gain insights into how legaltech is implemented in practice in leading law firms, corporate legal departments, technology companies, and the government
Representing Tilleke & Gibbins in the program, Andrew Stoutley, chief operating officer, and Suebsiri Taweepon, partner, will serve as mentors to the 14 teams that were admitted into Chula LegalTech’s year-two cohort in order to help guide them on their legal innovation journey. Joining Tilleke & Gibbins as sponsors of the program are CU Innovation Hub, Finema, PKM Consulting Group, and the Faculty of Law of Chulalongkorn University.
