Tilleke & Gibbins was named Thailand IP Firm of the Year at an awards ceremony hosted by Managing Intellectual Property in London on June 24, 2010. The ceremony, attended by over 250 industry leaders, was the culmination of the magazine’s 2010 World IP Survey. The survey, which involved five months of research covering 75 jurisdictions, was based on feedback gathered from private practitioners, in-house counsel, and clients.
Alan Adcock, Partner and Deputy Director of the firm’s IP group, represented Tilleke & Gibbins at the event and received the award on the firm’s behalf. He stated, “The future of our firm’s strong IP practice will be built on cross-border strategy, aggressive litigation, and a holistic approach to managing and protecting intellectual assets in Southeast Asia and around the globe. Our attorneys are seasoned, entrepreneurial, and dedicated to serving our growing client base.”
Tilleke & Gibbins was named Thailand IP Firm of the Year after the survey results ranked the firm’s IP practice in Tier 1 in patent prosecution, patent contentious, trademark prosecution, and trademark/copyright contentious, as reported in the February, March, and April editions of Managing IP. Tilleke & Gibbins was the only firm in Thailand to receive this across-the-board recognition in all of the categories covered in the jurisdiction. This marks the fourth consecutive year that the firm has been named Thailand IP Firm of the Year.
