OVERVIEW

Powering Southeast Asia.

We partner with national and multinational clients to ensure appropriate financing, licensing, success of major project investments, and proper labor and employment practices while also assisting with risk management and protection of technological innovation.

We act for clients across the energy mix in Southeast Asia. We support the activities of national and international operators in the petroleum industry, such as offshore drilling, rig decommissioning, oil and gas exploration, upstream and downstream operations, petrochemicals, transportation, and more. In clean energy technologies and renewables, we represent leading companies and exciting new players in solar and wind energy, as well as important hydroelectric projects in the region. We are also experienced in guiding generation and transmission projects past regulatory hurdles. Our expert legal advice on contracts and licensing, project finance, infrastructure development, joint ventures, and public-private partnerships enables our clients to power the ongoing development of our region.

Tilleke & Gibbins is a full-service law firm, so our energy industry group links seamlessly with our full range of legal experts, including those from our corporate and M&A, intellectual property, and dispute resolution groups.
