Legal Practice – TMT

• Advises technology companies, media/OTT companies, telecommunications companies, e-payment and fintech companies, platforms/marketplaces for regulatory compliance with Thai related regulations
• Drafts, reviews, and finalizes technology related contracts such as consulting services, IT products, software licensing, service agreement for system implementer and software development
• Advises and assists clients on importation, use and deployment of hardware, telecommunications or payment equipment, digital infrastructure and provision of e-commerce or e-payment services
• Advice on complex legal issues, including but not limited to incident responses and international data transfer, and apply solutions at scale
• Advise clients on their legal responsibilities regarding compliance with privacy laws and cybersecurity (both national and sectoral laws)
• Performs legal research when and as necessary to resolve legal issues and determine the appropriate course of action regarding a particular issue/case

Client Development and Managing Work and Relationships

• Take initiative, design, and implement business development and marketing plans for the TMT practice group for Thailand office
• Participate in crafting proposals and pitching for new business from current or prospective clients
• Identify and participate in relevant conferences as agreed by partners/department heads
• Effectively and efficiently manage projects and matters well
• Provide high-standard level of service to clients and colleagues

Skills & Abilities

• Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities work effectively
• Persuasive, articulate and confident discussing legal issues, transactions and strategies
• Effectively and persuasively present the client’s position and represent the client’s interests.
• Able to apply legal principles and draw on experience to develop strategies and solve problems that add real value for clients
• Demonstrate excellent legal and business judgment that inspires client’s confidence
• Excellent written and spoken skills in both Thai and English and ability to present information, including complex legal issues, clearly and concisely

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in TMT legal works
• Experience working in a reputable law firm or tech company
