World Trademark Review Places Tilleke & Gibbins’ Vietnam Trademark Practice in “Gold Band”

World Trademark Review

Tilleke & Gibbins Vietnam has, once again, been ranked in the “Gold Band” in this year’s edition of WTR 1000, a publication by World Trademark Review  showcasing the best trademark lawyers and firms around the world.

The guide’s editorial praises our team’s work in the country, quoting a client who said, “Vietnam isn’t the easiest jurisdiction to protect a mark in, but you are in good hands with Tilleke & Gibbins; it certainly eases a lot of the stress.”

The guide also highlights the firm’s leading trademark lawyers: “(The firm) has enjoyed a surge of contentious work of late, which has been spearheaded by Loc Xuan Le. Newly promoted trademark head Linh Thi Mai Nguyen has complex opposition and cancellation actions sewn up. Last but not least is Thomas Treutler, an adroit counsellor who is admitted to practise in both Vietnam and the United States; he has done a great job of coordinating the firm’s IP practice.” Loc, Linh, and Thomas were each identified as leading individuals in Vietnam.

As in previous years, the WTR 1000  rankings are determined based on market research and interviews with hundreds of lawyers, clients, and other practitioners. The firms are ranked on reputation, time in service, high-profile work, and comments from experts in the field, then divided into “Gold,” “Silver,” and “Bronze” bands, accordingly.
