Toyota Moving Around Visits Museum of Counterfeit Goods

Toyota Moving Around

In order to raise awareness among Thai society as to the potentially dangerous effects of counterfeit products, members from the Toyota Moving Around television program visited the Tilleke & Gibbins Museum of Counterfeit Goods and interviewed Inthupim Chokwaranun, an attorney-at-law in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property department, to feature on their show.

Sponsored by Toyota Motor, a Tilleke & Gibbins client, the program begins by delving into the history of the museum and its purpose to showcase infringing products. During the interview, Inthupim explained the reasons for why Thailand is considered a hub of counterfeiting activities in Southeast Asia and what the punishments are for infringers.

Toyota is a leading automotive manufacturer headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The program will be broadcasted on September 21 at 7.30 p.m. on the M Channel (TrueVisions 65 or 70). The program will be rebroadcasted on September 22 at 8.15 a.m. and on September 26 at 2 p.m. If you would like to learn more about this, please visit the Toyota website.
