Trustlaw Non-Profit Structuring Guide for Thailand

Tilleke & Gibbins, in collaboration with Trustlaw, the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s global pro bono service, is pleased to announce the release of the Trustlaw Non-Profit Structuring Guide for Thailand —an overview of the legal structures available to non-profit organizations in Thailand, authored by Tilleke & Gibbins.

This guide aims to provide organizations with an overview of the complex compliance and regulatory regimes for non-profits in Thailand, to help them select the most appropriate legal structure for their work and to understand the implications and obligations of their chosen structure. The guide identifies the advantages and disadvantages of each structure and sets out the relevant registration procedures, regulatory and governance considerations, and tax treatment, as well as finance and fundraising options.

This guide is part of Tilleke & Gibbins’ ongoing pro bono support of organizations that are addressing environmental, humanitarian, and social problems in Southeast Asia and across the globe. The full guide is available to download free-of-charge from the link below, or from the Trustlaw website.
