Tilleke & Gibbins Thailand Earns Gold Band Ranking in WTR 1000 2019

WTR 1000

World Trademark Review  recently published the 2019 edition of their annual WTR 1000  guide, a publication that ranks the best trademark firms and individual practitioners from 70 jurisdictions worldwide. Tilleke & Gibbins is proud to announce that the firm’s Thailand practice was recognized with the highest possible ranking, a Gold Band, marking the ninth consecutive year that the firm has secured its position as one of the premier trademark practices in the country.

The guide’s accompanying analysis praises Tilleke & Gibbins’ innovation, stating “[t]he trailblazer is constantly breaking new ground and recently became the first firm in Thailand to register a sound mark.” Further on, a client commended the firm’s outstanding customer service, saying “They listen to your concerns, formulate the best strategies, and never cease in the quest for learning. They refine and perfect their approach through constant communication with the client.”

In addition to recognition for the firm, Tilleke & Gibbins’ Thailand office also racked up the highest number of ranked individual lawyers from a single firm in the country:

  • Alan Adcock
  • Darani Vachanavuttivong
  • Nandana Indananda
  • Somboon Earterasarun
  • Srila Thongklang
  • Suebsiri Taweepon
  • Sukontip Jitmongkolthong

Rankings were determined by a four-month market research process which included face-to-face and telephone interview from hundreds of lawyers, attorneys, and clients; and written submissions from firms detailing their activities in each practice area.

Tilleke & Gibbins’ Indonesia and Vietnam practices also received excellent rankings in WTR 1000.
