POSITION SUMMARY

Tilleke & Gibbins is looking for an IT support specialist to join our IT team and provide direct technical support to end-users in our Ho Chi Minh City office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting users with IT-related inquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and applications.

Our HCMC office has approximately 40 employees, each using either a laptop or a desktop. We have a dedicated server room equipped with essential IT infrastructure, several meeting rooms with video conferencing systems, multiple printers and photocopiers, a company-wide Wi-Fi network, and an access control system using card and fingerprint authentication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance and support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to computers, printers, email, and Microsoft applications, including Windows Server, Windows Client, and Office 365.
  • Assist in setting up and configuring user devices including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Support and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Guide employees on best IT practices and security awareness.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to escalate and resolve complex technical problems.
  • Support end-users in using in-house applications and coordinate with the development team for issue resolution.
  • Document common issues, solutions, and IT support guidelines for internal reference.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure proper tracking of equipment.
  • Assist with basic network troubleshooting including Wi-Fi and IP telephony support.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in IT support and troubleshooting user-related IT issues.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Basic understanding of networking, Wi-Fi, and IP telephony systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to assist non-technical users effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
