Biography

Natthan is an associate in Tilleke & Gibbins’ corporate M&A practice group in Bangkok. He works with domestic and international clients on a wide range of corporate legal matters, including company formation and dissolution, shareholding structure, internal restructuring, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and legal due diligence. He also advises and assists foreign-owned companies in obtaining a foreign business license and other relevant industry-specific licenses.

Prior to joining Tilleke & Gibbins, Natthan worked as a legal adviser at the Bangkok office of a Big Four audit firm, where he was an assistant manager specializing in corporate and M&A legal work. Natthan holds an LLB from Thammasat University, is licensed by the Lawyers Council of Thailand, and is a member of the Thai Bar Association.


Experience
  • Represented a well-known China-based automotive company making a THB 8 billion investment in Thailand in obtaining a foreign business license and telecommunications license to conduct its service business involving electric vehicle charging stations, public switched telecommunications services, and relevant aftersales services.
  • Assisted a world-leading wholesaler of electronic parts and electronic communications equipment in establishing a wholly owned subsidiary in Thailand for wholesale, retail, software sublicensing service, networking implementation and migration for information technology, and aftersales service business activities.
  • Assisted a global fast-moving consumer goods business based in Germany during entire business transfer proceedings in connection with the internal restructuring of its group companies in Thailand, with a deal value of THB 100 million.
  • Advised a top-tier Japanese company providing hire-purchase services for cars and motorcycles in connection with its transformation into a public limited company under the Civil and Commercial Code, Public Limited Companies Act, and specific laws relevant to the client’s business.
  • Engaged by a Singapore-based listed company to conduct legal due diligence on an industrial estate developer located in northern Thailand in support of the client’s potential share acquisition transaction.
