Tanyatorn Siriwanwattana is an associate in Tilleke & Gibbins’ corporate and commercial team in Bangkok. She advises domestic and international clients across industries on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters in Thailand, including market entry and company establishment, Board of Investment (BOI) promotion, permits and licensing, corporate compliance and services, commercial agreements, entire business transfer, business termination and liquidation, labor matters, and tax incentives.
Prior to joining Tilleke & Gibbins, Tanyatorn worked in the Bangkok office of one of the world’s largest professional services firms, where she handled various corporate, commercial, and tax matters. Tanyatorn received an LLB from Thammasat University and an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Glasgow, and she holds a lawyer’s license from the Lawyer’s Council of Thailand and is an extraordinary member of the Thai Bar Association.
- Assisted a Chinese company in its establishment of a subsidiary corporation in Thailand to provide wholesale, retail, and aftersales service related to motorized vehicles, auto parts, communication equipment, and electronic tools.
- Helped international clients in various industries obtain licenses and incentives for foreign businesses in Thailand, including investment promotion and incentives from the Board of Investment (BOI), and foreign business licenses and certificates from the Foreign Business Department.
- Acted as a corporate secretary for a leading beverage and consumer products company in Thailand and internationally to ensure legal compliance with regulatory requirements under Thai legislation.
- Assisted a major company operating pig farming and pork production activities in Thailand with implementation of an entire business transfer.
- Advised international clients on tax matters related to double taxation agreements, tax registration with the Revenue Department, and other corporate tax regulations.
