Biography

Dr. Damri Radenamad is a consultant in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property group in Bangkok. With his deep understanding of electrical engineering and technology, he advises local and multinational companies on a wide range of intellectual property matters, specializing in patents and designs.

Dr. Damri's specialist academic background is of particular benefit to clients in highly technical industries. He obtained a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering with 1st Class Honors from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology, Ladkrabang. After graduation, he received a Japanese government scholarship to study for and obtain a Master of Electronic Engineering and Doctorate of Electrical Engineering and Information Systems at the University of Tokyo. Following his doctorate, Dr. Damri received a fellowship from the Royal Thai Government to study for an MBA, majoring in Technology Management and minoring in Strategy, at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), where he was awarded acknowledgement by the AIT Alumni Association for most outstanding academic performance.

Prior to joining Tilleke & Gibbins, Dr. Damri was an R&D engineer at a Japanese multinational electronics company where his work focused on DCDC converters for industrial, consumer, and automotive applications. He has completed the APAA Patent Surgery Course and the FICPI Patent Drafting Course, and is fluent in Thai, English, Japanese, and Malay.
