Tasha Tiensilakul is a consultant in Tilleke & Gibbins’ Myanmar office, where her practice focuses on intellectual property and corporate and commercial matters.

In her IP work, Tasha advises clients on the full range of trademark, patent, and copyright issues under the existing legal framework in Myanmar, including assessing registrability, conducting availability searches, and advising on and prosecution and commercialization of IP rights. She offers advice on IP strategies for both domestic and international clients, and conducts infringement analysis and enforcement against counterfeit goods and lookalikes.

Tasha’s corporate and commercial work is especially focused on advising foreign investors seeking to do business in Myanmar, and assisting them with market entry and corporate secretarial matters.

Tasha holds a law degree from Thammasat University, and a master’s degree in business and commercial law from the Maurer School of Law, Indiana University.
