Suphitsara Jaturaphitjaroen is an associate in Tilleke & Gibbins’ Bangkok office, advising domestic and multinational clients across industries on a range of key corporate and commercial matters in Thailand. An experienced commercial attorney, Suphitsara offers practical advice on banking and finance, company establishment, data protection, commercial contracts, employment and immigration, licensing and permits, M&As and other commercial transactions, real estate, shareholding structures, and a broad range of general legal compliance matters in Thailand.
Suphitsara graduated with an LLB from Prince of Songkla University in Thailand, after which she worked for several years as an associate at a Thailand-based law firm. She is a barrister-at-law admitted to the Thai Bar Association under the Royal Patronage and is fluent in Thai and English.
- Advised a major Japanese automotive company on the restructuring of its expansive dealer network in Thailand and assisted with related legal concerns that surfaced during the process.
- Conducted legal due diligence for a Thai listed company in its acquisition of 40% of the shareholding in an industry-leading water and pollution solutions company in Thailand.
- Assisted a public company in Thailand on its acquisition of several land plots located in the Industrial Estate of Rayong province, including carrying out legal due diligence ahead of the transaction.
- Advised international clients across industries on various investment projects in Thailand, including providing assistance on obtaining Foreign Business Licenses and securing investment promotion from Thailand’s Board of Investment.
- Assisted numerous clients with the establishment of a companies in Thailand, including assistance with corporate registration with the Thai Ministry of Commerce and the provision of ongoing corporate secretarial services.
