Biography
Ampolphan Sriduangchan is a senior associate and a patent agent in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property group. Ampolphan is responsible for matters related to patent registration, license agreements, annuity fees, and appeals in Thailand and has patent drafting experience. She is also qualified to provide notarial services and has a certificate in International Trade Arbitration.
Ampolphan is a member of the Thai Bar Association, the Lawyers Council of Thailand, and the Intellectual Property Association of Thailand.
Experience
- Appealed the rejection of a client’s product design to the Board of Patents. The Board held that the client’s product design was not the same design as the patented design and allowed the registration of the client’s design as a Design Patent.
- Drafted a petition covering three complex cases; this petition was ultimately accepted for review by the Board of Patents.
- Secured the registration of a patent after a lengthy review and administrative process.
- Advised an international insecticide technology company on patent drafting and filing. The matter involved freedom to operate searches, strategic reshaping and amending of the patent, and advising on an international filing plan.
