Biography

Dutsadee Dutsadeepanich is an associate and a versatile litigator in Tilleke & Gibbins’ dispute resolution department. She has extensive litigation and arbitration experience in Thailand, including complex commercial cases, restructuring and insolvency matters, administrative cases, telecommunications disputes, construction law cases, environmental cases, and insurance cases. She regularly represents both multinational and local companies, as well as individuals, in various courts and arbitration institutions in Thailand, and assists them in resolving disputes and negotiating favorable solutions to business challenges and other obstacles.

Dutsadee, who was described by Legal 500 Asia Pacific in 2019 as a “recommended associate,” frequently shares her expertise as a guest speaker and visiting lecturer at various universities and organizations, as well as by contributing articles and insights to firm and external publications. Dutsadee earned LLM degrees in intellectual property law and international trade and commercial law, and is a member of the Thai Bar under the Royal Patronage and a member of the Lawyers Council of Thailand. She currently sits as secretary of the Thailand branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.


Experience
  • Represented Thai state enterprises active in the petroleum business in an administrative court case resulting from the breach of a construction agreement, and in a civil case involving the alleged breach of a helicopter lease agreement and other tortious acts.
  • Represented a major mobile service provider in Thailand in several legal actions in connection with the revocation of resolutions of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunication Commission and breach of contract cases.
  • Assisted a subsidiary of a Malaysian asset and investment management company in several legal actions by advising on securities and exchange regulations, and representing the client in civil cases related to breach of contract and eviction disputes, and in criminal cases.
  • Represented a Thailand-based manufacturer in an Indian group of companies by assisting them in defending against a lawsuit in the Supreme Court of Thailand filed by individuals claiming damages suffered from the environmental impact of the manufacturing operations.
  • Assisted a Thailand-based entity in a Japanese group of companies engaged in the manufacture and sale of municipal solid waste treatment plants and boiler plants by representing the client in a civil case against a power plant company in relation to a construction agreement dispute.
