Pakaimas Wongwiwatwaitaya is an attorney-at-law in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property department, where she focuses on IP litigation. Building on her broad commercial experience, she takes a business-minded approach to advising both global and domestic clients on disputes arising out of their intellectual assets. She regularly advises and represents IP rights owners in pre-litigation, settlement negotiations, and litigation before the Board of Trademarks, as well as advising on a range of other IP rights related issues.
Before joining Tilleke & Gibbins, Pakaimas gained experience in a well-respected international law firm where she practiced a wide range of commercial matters, both contentious and non-contentious, ranging from comparative research on local and international laws, drafting litigation documents, and translating exhibits. She has also served as a court interpreter in several trials and mediations at Thailand’s Civil and Labor Courts.
Pakaimas obtained a bachelor of laws with first-class honors from Chulalongkorn University, majoring in business law, and a master of laws from Columbia Law School in New York, majoring in intellectual property, international commercial arbitration, and commercial law. She is a member of the Lawyers Council of Thailand, is fluent in Thai and English, and is conversant in Japanese.
