Tilleke & Gibbins is proud to have supported Vietnam Prosperity Crypto Assets Exchange Joint Stock Company (CAEX), one of the first crypto asset exchange companies in Vietnam, to secure strategic investments from OKX Ventures and HashKey Capital. The transaction is aimed at enabling CAEX to meet Vietnam’s minimum capital requirement of VND 10 trillion (USD 384.6 million) to participate in the country’s pilot program for regulated crypto asset trading under Government Resolution No. 05/2025/NQ-CP.

The investments by OKX Ventures and HashKey Capital as strategic partners alongside CAEX’s founding shareholders, VPBank Securities (VPBankS) and LynkiD – two members of the VPBank ecosystem – will bring together international crypto expertise with the domestic financial and technology capabilities of one of Vietnam’s most prominent financial groups to support CAEX’s development.

Our cross-practice team, led by partners Tram Ngoc Bich Nguyen and Loc Xuan Le, provided legal support throughout the cooperation process, helping to navigate the complex regulatory and commercial considerations involved in structuring the strategic partnership.
