On April 24, Pimvimol (June) Vipamaneerut, partner and head of the Tilleke & Gibbins’ non-contentious employment practice in Thailand, and Chuyen Hong Huu Le, attorney-at-law in the firm’s Vietnam practice, will join a much anticipated cross-border panel of labor and employment professionals representing Lex Mundi member firms across Asia.
The panel, which will comprise professionals from seven jurisdictions around the region, will come together to discuss how employers can tackle the difficult economic impact of COVID-19 through novel methods under the law. Entitled “Innovative Labor and Employment Solutions under COVID-19 — An APAC Perspective,” the one-hour session will cover options such as furloughs, work reductions, and approaches to public holidays during the unprecedented challenges presented by the pandemic.
