Wiramrudee (Pink) Mokkhavesa, attorney-at-law, and Linh Thi Mai Nguyen, head of trademarks in Vietnam, will represent Tilleke & Gibbins at the 2016 Seoul International Trademark Forum, hosted by the Korean Trademark and Design Association (KOTA). This year’s forum will focus on the topic, “How to Protect Korean Companies’ Brands in China, Vietnam, and Other Southeast Asian Countries.” Pink, speaking on Thailand and Indonesia, and Linh, presenting on Vietnam, will cover the following topics:

• Customs recordation
• Parallel importation
• Government authorities responsible for tackling counterfeit goods
• Civil and criminal enforcement actions
• Imitation trademark applications

KOTA is a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization that aims to raise public awareness of the importance of intellectual property.
