In the first edition of IAM Patent 1000 – The World’s Leading Patent Practitioners to hold rankings for Indonesia, Tilleke & Gibbins was placed among the top firms in the country for patent work. The 2016 edition of the guide lauds Tilleke & Gibbins as “replete with technical mavens and highly trained practitioners” and describes the firm as having “a strong presence in Indonesia.”   

Somboon Earterasarun, director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Jakarta office, also received recognition as a leading patent practitioner in Indonesia among only six other individuals. The editorial accompanying the rankings praises Somboon for handling two complex patent cases with “ease and precision.”

The rankings were determined through research carried out over five months by analysts at Intellectual Asset Management. The research included more than 1,500 interviews of attorneys and in-house counsel.
