Chambers Asia-Pacific 2016: Tilleke & Gibbins’ IP Practice in Thailand Ranked in Band 1

Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property practice has been ranked in “Band 1” for Thailand in the Chambers Asia-Pacific 2016  rankings. This is the highest ranking which can be achieved.

The editorial accompanying the ranking states that Tilleke & Gibbins is “widely endorsed for a long-standing reputation” in IP, “representing leading global brands in food and drink, pharmaceuticals, and media.” Continuing, it says the firm has “a full service offering,” is “especially well placed to handle contentious patents, trademarks, and copyright issues,” and is “bolstered by a growing regional network.”

In the editorial’s section on notable practitioners, Darani Vachanavuttivong, co-managing partner and managing director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ IP department, is commended for having “a very good reputation for patent work” and “further expertise in copyright and trademark matters.” Darani “wins client praise for her responsiveness, proactivity, and ability to offer practical solutions.” Alan Adcock, partner and deputy director of the IP department at Tilleke & Gibbins, is mentioned for his expertise in commercial IP matters. One client describes Alan as “fantastic.” Darani and Alan received individual rankings and were recognized in the “notable practitioners” section.
