Tilleke & Gibbins’ corporate and M&A practice in Myanmar has received a “Tier 2” ranking from renowned legal publication The Legal 500 Asia Pacific, placing us among the top ten firms in the market. The ranking appeared in the 2016 edition of the guide.

 “ASEAN-focused firm Tilleke & Gibbins is ‘pragmatic and professional’ and ‘finds solutions to the bottlenecks’ clients face in relation to corporate and commercial issues,” according to the editorial. Commenting on the breadth of work carried out by Tilleke & Gibbins, the guide observed that “a large part of its practice is intellectual property work for international businesses entering the Myanmar market, including trademark registration, software licensing, and domain name disputes.” Michael Ramirez and Shalini Ghosh, consultants in the firm, were described as “lead[ing] from the front.”
