For the ninth year in a row, Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property (IP) group in Vietnam has received a “Tier 1” ranking from The Legal 500 Asia Pacific. The ranking was published in the 2016 edition of the guide.

In addition to the ranking, the editorial states that Tilleke & Gibbins’ IP team in Vietnam is “highly regarded.” Commenting on our capabilities and client base, it says: “The group excels in the pharmaceuticals industry, acting for clients including Bayer and Pfizer, and has pharmacists in the team to assist with patent applications.”

“The firm continued to invest in its already sizeable team with several strategic hires,” the editorial continued, mentioning Trung Nguyen, who heads Tilleke & Gibbins’ IP enforcement team in Ho Chi Minh City. “Loc Xuan Le, who is ‘among the best IP enforcement lawyers,’ leads the IP enforcement group in Hanoi and was part of a team representing a U.S. client in seeking compensation following a trade mark infringement.”
