Somboon Earterasarun to Speak on Trademarks in the AEC at TBCI Event
Thai Business Club – Indonesia

The arrival of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) will set upon investors an unfamiliar array of challenges that will require forward thinking and consideration of previously unanticipated issues. For owners of intellectual property, the shifting environment will affect their strategic decisions relating to IP protection. To comment on these issues and more, Somboon Earterasarun, director of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Jakarta office, will speak on the topic “ASEAN Economic Community Trademark Challenges and Considerations for Thai Investors” at a seminar hosted by the Thai Business Club – Indonesia (TBCI). Somboon will discuss the ways in which trademarks will be impacted by the workings of the AEC and how Thai investors should approach such changes.

The Thai Business Club – Indonesia seminar will take place on September 26, 2014, at the Royal Thai Embassy from 8.30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Somboon will speak at 10.15 a.m. If you would like to learn more about this event, please visit the TBCI website.
