Tilleke & Gibbins’ Vietnam IP Practice Receives “Band 1” Ranking in Chambers Asia-Pacific 2014
Chambers Asia-Pacific

Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property practice in Vietnam has been placed at the top of the legal market by Chambers Asia-Pacific 2014. The well-known legal publication placed our practice in “Band 1” in its latest rankings.

In determining the rankings, over 140 researchers conducted interviews with clients and assessed firms’ recent work done. Departments within law firms were ranked according to their effectiveness and capability as a whole, their strengths, their depth, and their lawyers’ qualities.

The publication’s editorial describes our firm as being “a leader in Vietnam and Thailand for work in this practice area.” It says Tilleke & Gibbins “offers substantial experience on patent, trademark, and enforcement issues,” and that the firm is “especially well regarded for its expertise on contentious matters.” Citing one of the firm’s clients, it says, “they took a very modern approach, kept us abreast of relevant issues and were oriented towards client service.” Thomas J. Treutler, Managing Partner of Tilleke & Gibbins’ Vietnam offices, was highlighted as a “notable practitioner” and was described as “a key name for Vietnam-related IP matters owing to his experience on a range of intellectual property work.” Thomas was also individually ranked by the publication.
