In light of regional integration and the upcoming ASEAN Economic Community, Thai designers are attracting greater international attention for their work. To help them take advantage of these opportunities, the Faculty of Law of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce is organizing a Thai-language seminar on “Protection of the Rights of Thai Designers.”
During the event, Nuttaphol Arammuang, an attorney-at-law in the Tilleke & Gibbins intellectual property group, will make a presentation on how Thai designers can ensure that their work is fully protected under the relevant IP laws. Participants in this seminar will include Thai designers in various fields, such as interior design, fashion design, architectural design, and game and software design, as well as representatives from the academic world and the general public.
The seminar will take place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on May 17, 2013, at the Council Meeting Room on the 6th floor of the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. For more information on this seminar (in Thai), please visit the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce website.
