The Thai Department of Intellectual Property (DIP) and the International Trademark Association (INTA) Anticounterfeiting Committee, East Asia & Pacific Subcommittee, are jointly hosting an INTA Policy Roundtable, “Combating Counterfeiting in Thailand,” on March 21, 2013.

Held at the Bangkok office of Tilleke & Gibbins, the Roundtable will feature Ms. Pajchima Tanasanti, Director General of the DIP, who will discuss the importance of anticounterfeiting activities in Thailand. Following this introductory presentation, participants from the public sector, industry, and legal practitioners will be invited to discuss the current problems and challenges of counterfeiting in Thailand, as well as measures that can be implemented to address IP infringement.
