Plydaow Po-ngern is a consultant in Tilleke & Gibbins’ intellectual property and regulatory affairs group, specializing in patent prosecution in both Thailand and overseas jurisdictions.

Her responsibilities include drafting patent specifications, analyzing office actions and technical documents, and providing technical assistance to the firm’s intellectual property team in relation to filing and prosecution of patent and petty patent applications.

Plydaow’s broad experience with patent-related work makes her a versatile consultant who is able to advise clients on the details and background of their patents on both a conceptual and a semantic level. Prior to joining Tilleke & Gibbins she worked as a patent technician and translator responsible for translating in-depth descriptions and claims from English into Thai, and her background in biomedical science enables her to assess scientific patents with full understanding of their significance.

Plydaow has a BSc in biomedical science from Mahidol University.
