Indah Handayani is an IP consultant in Tilleke & Gibbins’ Jakarta office. As a certified pharmacist and a pharmaceutical industry expert, Indah is sought after for her advice on product registration, labeling, and distribution, among a range of regulatory matters. She has dealt directly with government agencies, such as Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM, the Indonesian equivalent of the Food and Drug Administration) and the Ministry of Health, which has given her a unique perspective into commercializing her clients’ products. Indah regularly handles patents, routinely overseeing office actions as well as patent claims analyses and searches.  She also provides assistance on patent oppositions, cancellations, and license agreements, using her strong technical background and industry experience to facilitate her clients’ needs.

Indah previously worked as a pharmacist for several years. She graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Indonesia, and speaks fluent Bahasa Indonesia and English.
