John King Speaks at Contract Management Seminar

Writing and managing a commercial contract can be a process fraught with potential pitfalls. To explore some of the complex factors involved, Asia Business Connect organized the “Contract Management Excellence Summit 2011” on October 19-20 in Bangkok.

John King, Partner at Tilleke & Gibbins, spoke at the seminar regarding how to integrate clear and effective dispute resolution procedures into a commercial contract. John also gave practical advice on identifying causes of disputes between two parties, negotiating at the pre-litigation stage, and pursuing Thai litigation, arbitration, and mediation.

The seminar was attended by leading business professionals from various industries, including petroleum, banking, and electronics.
